A bespoke menu design for the Roald Dahl Story Company and One Aldwych partnership, created for the Charlie and the Chocolate Factory Afternoon Tea.
The designs combine One Aldwych's Art Deco architecture with the playful world of Willy Wonka through pattern and colour.

Create a bespoke menu design for the Roald Dahl Story Company and One Aldwych partnership, celebrating the Charlie and the Chocolate Factory Afternoon Tea.

Juli Haas and I created the menu designs, developing the visual direction and working through the details of pattern, colour and production.

Drawing from One Aldwych's architecture, the menus feature a minimal Art Deco inspired pattern system. Elements from the Afternoon Tea are woven into the designs, as if they had been created inside the Chocolate Factory.
The colour palette combines the teal of One Aldwych with the purples and pinks of the Charlie brand palette, bringing both worlds together through a shared visual language.
