Snuffle is a Dog Café and Wine Bar that has built a real sense of community in South London. I created two murals, one which fills the downstairs space and and one which acts as signage for their pet shop.

Using a doodle-style, the paintings are of stretching café regulars and foliage inspired by local parks. This area caters for dog daycare and grooming, plus workshops and yoga classes for children, so the artwork needed to show both the fun and the serenity that can be enjoyed at Snuffle.

Some elements were sketched in pencil on to the wall first, though most parts of the mural were painted freehand. I followed a rough layout from a sketchbook, but was also given the freedom to improvise and explore directly with the paintbrush.
